A living body recognition apparatus, a living body recognition method and a living body authentication system. The living body recognition apparatus comprises a collection unit (1) and a processing unit (2). The collection unit (1) is used to emit light rays to a feature position of a living body, receive light rays reflected from the feature position, then convert same into an electrical signal, and send the electrical signal to the processing unit (2), and the collection unit (1) comprises at least one light source (12) and a plurality of photosensitive elements (13) arranged at intervals. The processing unit (2) is used to generate, according to the electrical signal, an image of the feature position, process the image of the feature position, and finally obtain feature information about the feature position, wherein the feature information is used to uniquely recognize the living body. The living body recognition apparatus not only can more flexibly recognize a living body, but also can recognize the living body in both cases of being in contact with and being not in contact with a feature position of the living body.
