The proposed invention relates to the field of agriculture, and more specifically to preparations which are intended for increasing the effectiveness of nitrogen fixation in plant cultivation, and which contain basic nutrition elements (macro elements): nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium; and also micro elements, which are necessary for normal growth and development of plants. The proposed preparation, like a known preparation for increasing the effectiveness of nitrogen fixation in plant cultivation, contains cobalt and molybdenum in the form of chemical compounds, and, according to the invention, the preparation is an aqueous solution of an edible organic acid, containing a complex of carboxylates of microelements based on edible organic acids produced by the interaction of micro-particles and nano-particles of molybdenum, cobalt, nickel, vanadium, iron, titanium, chromium, manganese, and zinc with an edible organic acid, in such a ratio of initial ingredients in mg per 1000 dm3 of the solution: 0.001-10 molybdenum; 0.001-10 coba 0.001-10 nickel; 0.001-10 vanadium; 0.001-10 iron; 0.001-10 titanium; 0.001-10 chromium; 0.001-10 manganese; 0.001-10 zinc; 5.0-1000 edible organic acid; with water making up the remainder. The problem addressed by the invention is that of creating a preparation that would be less toxic, that could be used effectively in small quantities, and, as a result, that would make it possible to reduce expenditure on the treatment of plants.
