The present invention addresses the problem of providing environment-responsive dye-accumulated nano particles which can be used for identifying intracellular environments, such as pH values, of individual cells. The present invention provides environment-responsive dye-accumulated nano particles, each of which comprises an environment-responsive dye accumulated on the surface of a heat-curable resin particle or in the inside of the heat-curable resin particle, and which have an average particle diameter of 30 to 800 nm. The nano particles are characterized in that the amount of the accumulated environment-responsive dye is 200 to 10,000,000 molecules/particle. The environment-responsive dye has fluorescence intensity dependency on pH or a Ca ion, and the heat-curable resin is a melamine resin.
