The present invention addresses the problem of providing: a treatment method for treating hiccups only by a simple procedure of stimulating a specific point on the infraspinatus muscle 3; and a position identification sheet for use in the treatment method. A method for treating hiccups, characterized in that a procedure of stimulating a specific point located 3 cm away from a tianzong acupuncture point 20 toward the side of a body for the purpose of stopping or alleviating the hiccups; and a position identification sheet for use in the treatment method.
