The present invention provides an aluminum alloy material provided with: an aluminum alloy base material; a first film that comprises an oxide film containing not less than 0.1 at.% but less than 20.0 at.% of Mg, 5-60 at.% of Si, and less than 0.6 at.% of Cu, and that is formed at least on a portion of the surface of the aluminum alloy base material; and a siloxane bond-containing second film that is formed on at least a portion of the first film, wherein, in a spectrum obtained using Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy by causing parallel polarized light having an incidence angle of 75° to be incident upon a surface on which the first and second films are formed, the height of a peak in the vicinity of 1100-1400 cm-1 is 0.01-0.50.
