A passive remote control switch and a remote control system applying the passive remote control switch. The passive remote control switch comprises a housing and a button arranged on the housing, an encoding circuit and a transmitting circuit are further arranged in the housing, and an encoding signal generated by the encoding circuit is transmitted via the transmitting circuit; and further comprised is an electric energy conversion unit which is arranged in the housing and supplies power to the encoding circuit and the transmitting circuit; the electric energy conversion unit comprises a permanent magnet and an inductance coil, and head and tail ends of the inductance coil constitute an electric energy output end for supplying power to the encoding circuit and the transmitting circuit; when the button is pressed, the button drives the permanent magnet to generate a displacement, so that the inductance coil moves relative to the permanent magnet and vertically cuts a magnetic force line of the permanent magnet to enable the head and tail ends of the inductance coil to generate an induced electromotive force.
