The control has a receiver provided as a passive transponder and obtaining energy from ultrahigh frequency (UHF) field of the remote control for switching-on of the transponder using a radio frequency identification (RFID) technique. The transponder switches-on an electromechanical miniature relay for switching-on or switching-off an electric device. The relay serves to control a network relay for the electric device. A circuit of the network relay is realized as a transistor, which is integrated in a digital circuit of the transponder.
