A single-cavity flat plate antenna array unit mainly comprises: a horn radiation layer (1), micro-strip feed layers (2, 4), a transmission layer (3), and a reflecting layer (5) in a composition sequence of the horn radiation layer (1), the micro-strip feed layer (2), the transmission layer (3), the micro-strip feed layer (4), and the reflecting layer (5). There are two micro-strip feed layers (2, 4), and the micro-strip feed layers (2, 4) are respectively a receiving micro-strip feed layer and a transmitting micro-strip feed layer; the horn radiation layer (1) and the reflecting layer (5) are separately provided with a connecting device; and the transmission layer (3) is provided with a signal transmission interface and a current transmission interface. A horn radiation layer (1) is capable of effectively amplifying signals; and the micro-strip feed layers (2, 4) are respectively arranged at the two sides of a transmission layer (3), are respectively a receiving micro-strip feed layer and a transmitting micro-strip feed layer, and are used for receiving and transmitting in different feed layers, thereby being beneficial to adjustment of antenna radiativity and voltage standing wave ratio. The flat plate antenna array units are mutually connected so as to form a flat plate antenna with a proper area, thereby meeting satellite communication requirements under different signal strengths in different areas, and implementing satellite communications.
