PRINTING METHOD AND PRINTING CONTROL DEVICE FOR MULTI-MATERIAL 3D OBJECT

Provided are a printing method and a printing control device for a multi-material 3D object. The printing method for a multi-material 3D object comprises the following steps: a. randomly generating at least one set of region printing data according to each set of region information of a target object, and generating layer printing data according to multiple sets of region information of each layer of the target object, wherein multiple sets of the layer printing data form 3D object printing data; b. printing successive layers according to the 3D object printing data; and c. superimposing the successive layers printed in step b. to form a 3D object. The 3D object created by using the printing method has a uniform texture. The method enables an inkjet printing technique to be used in a wide range applications in manufacturing 3D objects, thereby realizing a smooth transition between different materials in different regions of the same 3D object.
