Provided is a locking structure (500) of a safety footstep for a rail transit platform, comprising a lock seat (501), a main lock hook (504), a sub lock hook (505) and an unlocking lever (506), wherein the lock seat (501) is fixed onto a fixed frame base (401); the main lock hook (504) and the sub lock hook (505) are rotatably mounted on the lock seat (501) and rotate with respect to each other to form a locking or unlocking relation; the position of the main lock hook corresponds to the position of a lock catch (507) on a sliding frame (402), and when the sliding frame telescopically moves in place, the lock catch (507) on the sliding frame is locked into the main lock hook and drives the main lock hook to rotate to form a locking relation with the sub lock hook; and the unlocking lever is movably mounted on the lock seat, and one end of the unlocking lever is drivingly connected to the sub lock hook and then drives the sub lock hook to rotate, thereby completing unlocking between the main lock hook and the sub lock hook. By this locking structure, the safety footstep performs a physical locking automatically when telescopically moving in place, and achieves an unlocking automatically when required to be moved, thus improving operation safety of the safety footstep for the platform.
