Disclosed are a storage service platform applicable to a virtual desktop scenario and a realization method thereof. The storage service platform applicable to a virtual desktop scenario comprises: a virtual server configured to virtualize multiple logic hardware units on a server physical hardware unit; a public storage device configured to store a system file, an application file and configuration information of a user; a private storage device configured to store private data of the user; a user authentication and access module configured to perform user authentication and enable a valid user to access a virtual desktop; a client configured to enable interaction between the user and a virtual machine, receive an input from the user, process an output from the virtual machine, and provide a physical connection port for the private storage device. The invention is compatible with most existing virtual products and can satisfy a specific requirement of a user in a residential cell.
