The invention relates to inks for colour interference inkjet printing. A stable sol of crystalline nanoparticles of titanium dioxide in the anatase phase is used as sol-gel inks, permitting the production of printed articles with coloured images formed by at least one refractive layer of a titanium dioxide xerogel, which is transparent in the visible spectrum and has a colouring that varies in accordance with the thickness of the layer. The technical result is the creation of non-toxic inks for colour inkjet printing which do not fade under exposure to sunlight and which adhere strongly to a non-porous support.
