The present invention relates to an authentication system for financial transactions. A combined password and facial recognition information user authentication server according to an embodiment of the present invention is characterised by comprising: a variable key pad generation unit for generating a variable key pad including an encryption key such that the location of each encryption key varies whenever a variable key pad is generated; an authentication information storage unit for storing authentication information of a mobile terminal user; and an authentication performing unit for providing to a remote mobile terminal generated variable key pad information, and for receiving from the mobile terminal location information of the encryption key depending on an order that is input by a user and the user's facial recognition information obtained using a camera of the mobile terminal so as to perform user authentication using the same.
