According to one aspect of the present invention, a keypad for inputting Chinese characters by using a touchscreen of a terminal comprises: a main input part (10) configured such that a basic stroke group of Chinese characters and numbers of 0-12 are arranged on inner keys (14) and outer keys (16) around a center key (12) for directing an input; and a selection part (20) configured such that a radical part (23) for outputting radicals is arranged on one side corresponding to a number part (21) for displaying serial numbers and a character part (25) for outputting characters is arranged on the other side, wherein all the Chinese characters are inputted through the main input part (10) and the selection part (20). According to another aspect of the present invention, since keys are made and basic strokes are arranged according to the principle used when the Chinese characters were created, both intuitiveness and convenience are implemented, thereby enabling a user to easily and conveniently use the keypad in various types of terminals including a cellular phone.
