A shade curtain for a sightseeing elevator car comprises a driving mechanism, curtain cloth (5), and tracks (4) on which the curtain cloth (5) runs. The driving mechanism comprises a tubular motor (1), driving wheels (6), pulleys (9), and a lifting rope (7), the tubular motor (1) being installed on the top of a car, the pulleys (9) being arranged at the bottom of the car, the driving wheels (6) being respectively arranged at the two ends of the tubular motor (1), the driving wheels (6) being vertical to the pulleys (9), the driving wheels (6) being connected to the pulleys (9) by means of the lifting rope (7), and the lifting rope (7) forming a loop, capable of running up and down, together with the driving wheels (6) by means of the bottom pulleys (9); the tracks (4) are also arranged at the two ends of the tubular motor (1); and the end of one end of the curtain cloth (5) is fixedly connected to the lifting rope (7), and the other end is connected to the tubular motor (1). The shade curtain for a sightseeing elevator car has the advantages of being simple in structure, convenient to install and convenient to control, is capable of effectively preventing the sightseeing elevator car from being directly irradiated by sunlight, and does not need to change an original car structure, thereby being widely installed and used in various sightseeing elevators.
