This blood pressure information calculating device 10, which calculates blood pressure information pertaining to a blood pressure value of a subject, is provided with: an input unit 32 which receives, as inputs, a waveform based on the pulse wave of the subject, and reference blood pressure information which is a reference for calculating blood pressure information on the basis of the pulse wave-based waveform; a frequency domain representation converting unit 33 which calculates a phase spectrum of the pulse wave-based waveform by Fourier-transforming the pulse wave-based waveform; a phase parameter calculating unit 34 which, on the basis of the phase spectrum, calculates a correction value by using at least one among a phase of a main wave which has a frequency corresponding to the pulse of the subject and a phase of a second harmonic wave corresponding to a second harmonic wave of the main wave; and an average blood pressure calculating unit 35 which calculates an average blood pressure by correcting the reference blood pressure information by using the correction value.
