A trademark retrieval method, comprising: establishing a sample trademark library and establishing a correlation between sample trademarks and known graph trademark graph element code division data with the registration thereof already applied for (101); extracting and processing image feature information about the sample trademarks, and establishing a correlation between the sample trademarks and the extracted image feature information (102); extracting and processing image feature information about a trademark to be retrieved (103); taking the image feature information about the trademark to be retrieved as a retrieval condition to carry out matching retrieval, and finding a sample trademark matching the image feature information about the trademark to be retrieved and reaching a pre-determined approximation degree, and a sample trademark the most approximate to the image feature information about the trademark to be retrieved and a corresponding trademark graph element code (104); acquiring and confirming a graph element code of the trademark to be retrieved (105); taking the confirmed graph element code as a retrieval condition to carry out matching retrieval, and finding a sample trademark matching the confirmed graph element code (106); collecting a retrieval result obtained by taking the image feature information about the trademark to be retrieved as the retrieval condition and a retrieval result obtained by taking the confirmed graph element code as the retrieval condition (107); and sorting collected trademarks according to the approximation degree of the image feature information and reporting a trademark search result (108). By means of the method, the standardised retrieval of graph trademarks can be realised.
