A method and apparatus for controlling a physical device, and the physical device. The method comprises: detecting a motion attitude of a first physical device (S101); comparing the motion attitude with a specified attitude, so as to obtain a comparison result (S102); and if the comparison result is that the motion attitude is consistent with the specified attitude, sending a control signal to a second physical device, so that the second physical device performs a corresponding control operation according to the control signal (S103). In a case in which a first physical device is not waken up, a control signal can be sent to a second physical device according to a motion attitude of the first physical device, so that the second physical device can be controlled in a case in which the first physical device is in a dormancy state, thereby reducing operation cost of controlling the second physical device, and improving the control efficiency of the second physical device.
