TRAFFIC LIGHT MANAGEMENT METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR SMART CITY

A traffic light management method for a smart city. The method comprises the following steps: obtaining the number of pedestrians and a time (101); and if the number of pedestrians exceeds a threshold and the time also exceeds a set threshold, changing a vehicle signal light to red and simultaneously setting a pedestrian signal light to green (102). The method has the advantage of smartly adjusting the times of traffic lights.
