VIDEO IMAGE PROCESSING METHOD AND APPARATUS BASED ON VIRTUAL REALITY TECHNOLOGY

Disclosed are a video image processing method and apparatus based on virtual reality technology. The method comprises: determining the curtain resolution and the monocular rendering resolution in a virtual scene, wherein the curtain resolution in the virtual scene is consistent with the video resolution in monocular display; determining, according to the curtain resolution and the monocular rendering resolution, a zooming proportion; acquiring video frames of decoded video data, and zooming the video frames according to the zooming proportion; and sending the zoomed video frames to a three-dimensional image processor, and performing texture mapping according to the zoomed video frames and the virtual scene. By means of the method, the video frames are decoded first, zoomed using a professional two-dimensional image engine in a chip preconfigured by a chip factory, and then are sent to a three-dimensional image processor as texture display, thus saving three-dimensional image processing resources.
