This cardiac therapy device (10A) includes: an outer shaft (12); a drive shaft (14) that is arranged inside the outer shaft (12); and a holding mechanism unit (18) that is provided on a leading end of the drive shaft (14). The holding mechanism unit (18) is configured so as to come into contact with the outer surface of the pericardium (6) that covers the heart (2) and to at least partly surround and hold the outer surface. A needle (22) for injecting cardiac muscle regeneration material into the cardiac muscle (4) can be made to protrude from the holding mechanism unit (18) toward the heart (2).
