A data acquisition method for a technology related to matching between music and a vehicle speed, and a player. The method comprises: matching music and vehicle speed intervals (S100); measuring a current vehicle speed (S101); playing music according to the current vehicle speed and the matching relation between music and vehicle speed intervals, and sending technology usage data to a data acquisition end preset by a manufacturer (S102). By matching music and vehicle speed intervals, music can be automatically played according to the current vehicle speed, thus simplifying operations of an in-vehicle music player, improving driving safety, and making the in-vehicle music player more humanized; meanwhile, the manufacturer can conveniently, timely and effectively acquire the usage information of the related technology.
