The method comprises the following steps: receiving an instant communication message sent by an opposite mobile terminal; determining whether the content in the instant communication message is a new year's greeting; if it is determined that it is a new year's greeting, acquiring the name corresponding to a sender; inserting the name corresponding to the sender into a pre-set instant communication message; and sending, to the opposite mobile terminal, the pre-set instant communication message containing the name corresponding to the sender, and pushing patent information to a user.
