Provided in the present invention is a preparation method for a graphene/polypyrrole/sulfur composite positive electrode material, comprising: (1) grinding sodium sulfide and elemental sulfur in an agate mortar, then dissolving the mixture in distilled water to produce an orange solution, adding Triton X-100 into the solution, and adding concentrated hydrochloric acid to produce gradually a yellow suspension; (2) adding oxidized graphite into distilled water for ultrasound to produce an oxidized graphene solution, adding the yellow suspension, and stirring in a water bath to produce a dark gray sulfur oxidized graphene composite material; (3) adding the produced sulfur oxidized graphene composite material into a potassium iodide solution, and then adding diluted hydrochloric acid to produce a sulfur graphene composite material; and (4) adding the sulfur graphene composite material into water and stirring, then adding pyrrole, and then adding an initiator to acquire the graphene/polypyrrole/sulfur composite material. The sulfur in the material is covered by the flexible graphene and polypyrrole, thus inhibiting the dissolution of a discharge product polysulfide and mitigating volume expansion.
