METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR REALIZING MOBILE DEVICE DATA TRACKING USING SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT KIT

Disclosed is a method and system for enabling mobile device data tracking using a software development kit (SDK). The method comprises: allocating, via the SDK, identifiers to elements in a mobile device application such that the identifiers can position the elements in the application (S1); if the elements are triggered, determining program context information corresponding to the elements, and caching, on a mobile device, the elements, the identifiers and the program context information when the elements are triggered (S2); and, if the mobile device is connected to a network, sending the elements, the identifiers and the program context information cached by the mobile device to a cloud server, thereby enabling the cloud server, according to the received identifiers, to acquire the elements and the program context information (S3). The program context information includes a triggering time, a display time of a page where the elements are located and a triggering mode, and the invention increases the efficiency of data tracking and saves human resource costs. In addition, data caching avoids the need for repeated retries in the event of an unstable network, and avoids unnecessary traffic consumption as well.
