The present invention relates to a multi-object tracking system and a multi-object tracking method using the same. The multi-object tracking system comprises: a tracking camera for photographing at intervals of a predetermined unit time, moving objects to be tracked; a grouping module for receiving the photographed images from the tracking camera and grouping, into unit groups, the moving objects, located within a predetermined setting distance, from among the moving objects displayed in the images; and a tracking module for tracking a unit group including the moving object selected from among the unit groups on the basis of the images.
