The present invention provides a novel high-efficiency antimalarial drug, and specifically, the present invention provides applications of Quisinostat, analogs thereof, or pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof in treating malaria. The present invention also provides a pharmaceutical composition containing Quisinostat. By means of in-depth researches, it is found that Quisinostat has significant inhibitory effects on plasmodia, and even shows better plasmodium killing effects than artemisinin in mice.
