A public rental bike integrated with a bike-mounted control module, comprising a conventional public rental bike and characterized by further comprising a bike-mounted control module. The bike-mounted control module is mounted or embedded in the bike to make the bike into a subsystem capable of working independently in an entire rental system; the subsystem comprises a processing module, a wireless communication module, a card swipe module, a mechanical lock module, a steel cable and latch module, an identity identification module, a locking detection module, and a power module. The present invention can achieve a highly-reliable series public bike management system, which has high rental bearing capacity and low costs in free scheduling and overall deployment. According to the present invention, a temporary lock can also be achieved, with which a conventional key is replaced by card swiping.
