RAILWAY VEHICLE SNAKING INSTABILITY SUPPRESSION SYSTEM AND METHOD

A railway vehicle snaking instability suppression system and method, comprising a snaking pre-warning and control module, used for judging whether a bogie is in a snaking unstable state; a traction motor speed control system, used for controlling the rotation speed of a traction motor on the basis of the judgment of the snaking pre-warning and control module; a signal output terminal of the snaking pre-warning and control module is connected to the traction motor speed control system. The technical solution of the present applicationextracts snaking motion characteristic waveson the basis of lateral acceleration of the bogie and calculates a vibration non-linear index on the basis of extracted snaking non-linear characteristics to determine whether the bogie is in a snaking unstable state, and controls the direct torque of a traction system by means of a DTC control module; existing train lateral control can only reduce the lateral vibration of the train and cannot eliminate snaking instability, whereas the technical solution of the present invention can control the traction motor to reduce speed in order to eliminate snaking instability.
