A disc brake (11) is provided with: a base section (25) supported in a slidable manner by an upper-stage guide pin (31) supported by a support (23); a floating caliper (13) having a piston-side pressing arm (39) and a pressing arm (41) on the side opposite the piston; a pair of brake pads (17); a drive piston (15) provided to the piston-side pressing arm (39); a caliper return mechanism (22) disposed at an end of the upper-stage guide pin (31) and elastically pressing the base section (25) to the side opposite the drive piston; and inner peripheral washers (44) arranged on both axial sides of a rubber ring (21) which elastically radially supports the upper-stage guide pin (31) and preventing the inner peripheral section of the rubber ring (21) from deforming and deflecting in the axial direction of the upper-stage guide pin (31).
