A method for preparing fluorescent ceramic having an aluminum oxide substrate sequentially comprises the following steps: mixing aluminum oxide, fluorescent powder and a sintering aid and removing purities in the mixture to obtain fluorescent ceramic precursor powder, and sintering the powder in an oxygen-free atmosphere to obtain fluorescent ceramic. The particle sizes of components are preset, the fluorescent ceramic precursor powder is treated in high temperature in the sintering step, and the sintering aid uses nitrate corresponding to the sintering aid as a raw material for introducing an oxide.
