BARRIER-LESS VEHICLE DRIVING AND PARKING TOLL SYSTEM DESIGN

A barrier-less vehicle driving and parking toll system. Vehicle owners use license plate numbers to establish vehicle information collection and funds accounts, upload information such as vehicle type, colour etc. and contact details, and set passwords; a toll collector installs Internet collection devices in vehicle toll areas, uploads vehicle passage information to calculate driving distances, parking times and passing frequencies, calculates fees according to vehicle models and toll standards, and completes funds settlement and transfer from toll payers to the toll collector via the Internet. The system implements barrier-less passage for toll areas or toll points such as highways, road crossings, bridge crossings, tunnels, ferries, car parks, roadside parking, districts and city congestion, and implements the sharing of all fee resources. Car park information may be published on the Internet for drivers to find or navigate to nearby car parks with free spaces. The present solution only requires Internet collection devices to be installed at toll boundaries or toll points for the implementation of toll collection for licensed vehicles, and thereby saves infrastructure investment.
