A new knife type capable of being used in a manner similar to a balisong comprising: a main blade, wherein the main blade comprises at least one sharpened portion and a pivot point portion, and at least one handle that is capable of rotating about the pivot point, wherein the main blade is adjacent the at least one handle, such that the handle(s) and blade may be rotated to expose the blade or store the blade safely.
