An apparatus and a method for generating a renewable energy resource map are disclosed. According to the present invention, the apparatus for generating a renewable energy resource map comprises: a data collecting unit for collecting and analyzing data on a renewable energy resource; a map generating unit for generating a renewable energy resource map including geographic information, energy information, and potential information based on the data collected from the data collecting unit; and an information utilizing unit for providing analysis data on a policy field, an industrial filed, an academic field, and a public field based on the map generated from the map generating unit.
