An integrated phase change memory control sub system of the present invention comprises: a non-volatile buffer cache which maintains a cache block; a non-volatile journal area which maintains a journal block; a non-volatile storage which maintains a data block; and an integrated memory control unit. The integrated memory control unit sets data blocks of the non-volatile storage to one from among a valid state, an erasable state and an invalid state according to whether caching, journaling, or a clean cache is performed, considers data stored in the corresponding data block as original data if the data block of the non-volatile storage is in the valid state or erasable state, and considers the data stored either in a corresponding cache block or in a corresponding journal block as the original data if the data block of the non-volatile storage is in the invalid state. Therefore, the integrated memory control unit can be operated to carry out a read operation, a write operation, a commit operation and a check point operation, respectively, for the cache block within the non-volatile buffer cache and the journal block within the non-volatile journal area so as to maintain the most recent data consistent with the original data in one from among the non-volatile buffer cache, the non-volatile journal area and the non-volatile storage.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2016
