The present invention relates to a system for an LED plant factory using Visible Light Communication (VLC), and a method for managing the LED plant factory, in which a network is established by utilizing an existing LED plant factory, thereby reducing costs of construction of a system for an LED plant factory. According to an embodiment of the present invention, disclosed is a system for an LED plant factory, the system comprising: a sensor unit which detects information about an internal plant growth environment; a first control unit which receives the information about the plant growth environment detected by the sensor unit, and receives information about control of the plant growth environment from a user; a second control unit which controls the plant growth environment based on the information received from the user; and a first communication unit which performs internal communication through VLC.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2016
