The present invention relates to a method of coating a nanocrystalline hydroxyapatite film on the surface of a biocompatible metal alloy implant. The nanocrystalline hydroxyapatite film formed by the method of the present invention has excellent biocompatibility and osteoconduction, and can thus improve in vivo osseointegration of the biocompatible metal alloy implant. According to the method of the present invention, the method does not require a chemical treatment for etching or a treatment of the simulated body fluid, and is thus simple and economical.
