The present disclosure relates to novel methods of predicting asthma and personalized therapy. Specifically, the disclosure provides a method of treating a patient with asthma by selectively administering an IL-13 antagonist based on whether a patient with asthma has a genetic predisposition to have a favorable response to treatment with an IL-13 antagonist / RTI Also provided herein are methods of delivery, diagnostic methods and kits of information useful for predicting the likelihood that a patient with asthma will respond to treatment using an IL-13 antagonist.
