Disclosed are a method for discriminating active, latent, or recurrent tuberculosis, in particular for diagnosing or detecting whether a specimen determined as a negative in a sputum smear examination is an active tuberculosis or not by using a specific reaction of a specimen to combination of antigens selected from 38 kDa, 16 kDa, ESAT-6, CFP-10, and LAM antigens, and a kit. The method or kit according to the present invention can diagnose whether a sputum smear negative specimen is active, latent or recurrent tuberculosis which is difficult to diagnose through the typical method with a high sensitivity and specificity, and thus the present invention can accurately and rapidly determine tuberculosis alone or in combination with the typical smear method.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2016
