The present invention relates to an industrial network system based on a wired/wireless network and an operating method thereof. An objective of the present invention is to enable a quick response to a specific event due to various industrial environments which can occur while automating an industrial facility. According to the present invention, a wired/wireless unified control device collects information from wireless sensors through a sensor network, packetizes the collected information, and transmits the packetized information to a control server through an Ethernet network. When the packetized information is transmitted to the control server, the wired/wireless unified control device instantly transmits a packet containing event occurrence information to a control server, when specific event occurrence information is received from wireless sensors, which have detected the occurrence of a specific event, among the wireless sensors.
