The present invention relates to antibodies, particularly monoclonal antibodies capable of binding to IGR-IR, as well as amino acid and nucleic acid sequences encoding said antibodies. In one aspect, the present invention relates to an antibody, or antigen-binding fragment thereof, capable of binding to IGF-1R and inducing the internalization of IGF-1R to be internalized into cells. The present invention also encompasses the use of the antibody as an addressing product or carrier conjugated with other anti-cancer compounds such as toxins, radioactive elements or drugs, and its use for the treatment of certain cancers.
