An increase in various accidents and driver inconvenience caused by breaking down a surface of a road due to a rapid climate change effect and an increase in heavy vehicles is a trend. Especially, vibration needs to be minimized for a transport vehicle for a fracture patient or the like. However, the existing method for providing road surface information has a limitation. The present invention provides an apparatus and a method for effectively providing road surface information in real time while being economical and easily installed in a vehicle. The road surface providing apparatus comprises: a road surface information generating unit for generating road surface information; a first GPS module for obtaining position information; a wireless transmitting module for transmitting the road surface information and the position information to the outside; a first vehicle including the road surface information generating unit, the first GPS module, and the wireless transmitting module; a second GPS module; a wireless receiving module for receiving information from the outside; a road surface information display unit for displaying the information received from the wireless receiving module; a second vehicle including the second GPS module, the wireless receiving module, and the road surface information display unit; and a road surface management server for receiving the road surface information generated in the road surface information generation unit and the position information obtained in the first GPS module, and transmitting the road surface information according to a driving path of the second vehicle obtained in the second GPS module to the wireless receiving module.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2016
