The present invention relates to a method for providing a streaming data packet, and more particularly to a method for providing a streaming data packet by using a streaming provision server and a base station interworking node, which uses an MPEG media transport (MMT) technology and adaptively provides streaming content based on a traffic situation of a base station by using a base station interworking node, adapted to be connected to at least one base station, and a streaming provision server. The present invention also relates to a base station interworking node for performing the method. Provided may be a base station interworking node according to an embodiment of the present invention, which is connected to at least one base station, the base station interworking node comprising: an analysis module which analyzes an IP header of a streaming data packet transferred from a streaming provision server to a terminal, and analyzes information about a frame compression type of video data included in the streaming data packet; and a media processing module which selectively removes the streaming data packet based on the analyzed information about the frame compression type according to a congestion state of the base station.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2017
