HYBRID FILTER HAVING MULTI-LAYER STRUCTURE PREPARED BY STAKING ANTIMICROBIAL SEDIMENT FILTER MATERIALS AND ADSORBING FILTER MATERIALS, AND COMPOSITE FILTER USING HYBRID FILTER
According to the present invention, provided is a composite filter for a water purifier, which comprises a filter cartridge configured to have a water inlet and a water outlet and to accommodate a multi-layer hybrid filter member and the multi-layer hybrid filter member mounted inside the filter cartridge so that water introduced through the water inlet passes in a direction perpendicular to a stack layer surface and is discharged through the water outlet. The above-described hybrid filter member is a sediment-carbon hybrid filter member or a sediment-membrane hybrid filter member. The above-described hybrid filter member has a multi-layer structure formed by alternately stacking antimicrobial sediment filter members and carbon or membrane filter members. The above-described antimicrobial sediment filter members are woven cloths or woven fabrics formed from polymer resin containing silver antimicrobial particles having low solubility and low elution, and have pores having a size ranging from 1 to 100 microns. The composite filter for a water purifier according to the present invention has a very small size, high performance, and an antimicrobial characteristic. Accordingly, the composite filter for a water purifier can prevent growth of bacteria and formation of a biological membrane throughout an overall water purification system including the composite filter and a subsequent filter and units, and a related criterion for drinking water can be satisfied by reducing a silver elution level to a ppb level or less in spite of a high silver content.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2017
