Disclosed are a method for processing a hand gesture command and smart glass therefor. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the smart glass is for a gesture recognizing apparatus which recognizes a hand gesture of a user to generate a gesture command corresponding to the recognized hand gesture. The smart glass includes: a camera unit capturing a series of images including a hand gesture of a user; a detection and expression unit representing a hand image included in each of a series of images captured in the camera unit as meta data of a certain format; and a communications unit transmitting hand expression data generated in the detection and expression unit to the gesture recognizing apparatus.
