Provided are polyester composite yarn having excellent bulky and heat insulation properties and a method of manufacturing the same. The method of manufacturing polyester composite yarn includes the steps of: supplying high-contraction polyester yarn as core yarn and hollow partial-oriented yarn as effect yarn; taut-annealing the core yarn and the effect yarn at the same time; hot-stretching the core yarn and the effect yarn with two heat rollers; noncontact-annealing the hot-stretched core yarn and effect yarn on a heat plate; interlacing the core yarn and the effect yarn through air interlacing to produce composite yarn; and winding the composite yarn.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2017
