摘要

The present invention relates to a curcumin derivative, a preparation method thereof, and to a photoacoustic imaging agent comprising the curcumin derivative for detecting beta-amyloid plaque. According to the present invention, the curcumin derivative represented by chemical formula 1 has excellent binding strength specifically to beta-amyloid, and can detect beta-amyloid through an optical-imaging method or a photoacoustic-imaging method. Particularly, the curcumin derivative reacts to emission of light within a particular range of wavelengths, and can detect photoacoustic signals with high efficiency with almost no noise. Thus, the curcumin derivative is useful for a composition for detecting beta-amyloid and diagnosing a disease caused by overgeneration of beta-amyloid.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2017
