The present invention relates to a vehicle guide display board capable of detecting a vehicle and recognizing a license plate number and a parking control system using the same. More specifically, the vehicle guide display board capable of detecting a vehicle and recognizing a license plate number comprises: a wireless communication unit to wirelessly communicate with a vehicle detection sensor device; a vehicle guide unit to guide a vehicle to an empty parking area in accordance with vehicle detection information received via the wireless communication unit; a photographing unit to photograph a license plate of a vehicle passing a vehicle guide display board; a control unit to transmit an image of the license plate of the vehicle photographed by the photographing unit to a server, and receive license plate number information extracted by the server to store the license plate number information; and a power supply unit to supply power. Direct communication with the vehicle detection sensor device is allowed and the vehicle guide display board can guide the vehicle thereby simplifying a structure of a device and reducing an error in communication to construct a stable parking system. The license plate of the vehicle can be photographed to construct a parking system with a single vehicle guide display board without having to install a separate image photographing device.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2017
