DEVICE FOR TREATING HARMFUL AQUATIC ORGANISMS AND PATHOGEN OF BALLAST WATER OF SHIP USING CHLORINE DIOXIDE

The present invention relates to a device for treating harmful aquatic organisms and pathogen of ballast water of a ship using chlorine dioxide. The device comprises: a ballast water storage tank storing ballast water; a chlorine dioxide generating device generating chlorine dioxide to treat harmful aquatic organisms and pathogen of the ballast water of a ship to be supplied to the ballast water storage tank; a gas compressor enabling the chlorine dioxide recovered on a water level surface of the ballast water storage tank to circulate and be supplied to the ballast water storage tank; and a control unit controlling the chlorine dioxide generating device and the gas compressor. The present invention can remove the harmful aquatic organisms and the pathogen of the ballast water by using the chlorine dioxide and prevents destruction of a secondary marine ecosystem caused by residual chlorine generated when the ballast water is treated.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2017
