摘要
One embodiment of the present invention provides a method realized in a base station for detection of a physical random access channel (PRACH) preambles in a long term evolution (LTE) communication system and generation of a PRACH reference segment. The base station may perform a series of mathematical techniques to generate the PRACH reference segment using a constant amplitude zero auto correlation (CAZAC) sequence which is used to detect the PRACH preambles. Further, the base station may identify the PRACH by using a received signal by the base station. The base station may divide the signal in order to generate contact segments or non-contact segments. Furthermore, the base station may use a segment performed between a complex conjugate of a value at each frequency location of a PRACH frequency segment and a value at a corresponding frequency location of the PRACH reference segment by a segment multiplication followed by a summing approach. Then, the results are added together. The sum is processed for detection of the PRACH preambles and a timing delay.
